Everything we DO adds to our society or takes away from it.
Every single ACTION or INACTION adds to the BALANCE in our societal bank account.
In our "Me first! screw you." western society too many people withdraw from our societal bank accounts and put in NOTHING! Or those of us who are kind and considerate also withdraw when we are sad or angry. When I walk down the street angry at the world I am taking the good energy vibration off the street. I may think I am only hurting myself but I am also reducing the positive energy of others. That does not mean we can ignore negatives and problems that need addressing but some of us thinkers have to stop spouting WORRY everywhere we go.
Someone once told me the wisest thing! "Don't think about it!" If you can't fix it right now . DO NOT BE THINKING ABOUT IT! Sad or angry is often just us CHOOSING to be on a HAMSTER WHEEL going in a circle screaming "It is not FAIR!" We use up lots of energy, but circling in our head loses us no weight! The only result is us being exhausted having accomplished EXACTLY nothing. At least when we sat in a rocking chair if we calmly rocked we got nowhere but at least it ws CALMING. Stop being an idiot! get out of your head .. or maybe it is our HEART! Get out of our hurt heart and use common sense. This sad repeating or angry ranting is getting no one anywhere. In fact it is REDUCING OUR BANK BALANCE. Not just our own but all who we rant to. Our sadness brought them down, and reacting our sad story brings just us down further. Lesson one in REAL SOCIETAL BANK BALANCE INCREASE = don't "think" about it if just circling. REAL thinkng is a different story that SOLVES PROBLEMS.
Us worriers feel we MUST think about everything and every worng should be made RIGHT! It is our job to FIX bad, sad un FAIR things! But our rants of "It is not FAIR!" bring down others who were just trying to survive their own Hard day! Let's make a promise to try to think MORE of our societal BANK ACCOUNT. Right now it is in the MINUS! But I notice more and more PLUS deposits!I guess the BANK I am envisioning is a connected community (society) where BOTH the bank does well but also the individual account holders do well. We want OUR (OCTOPUS) BANK Co-op to be hugely successful because we are imagining it as our COMMUNITY ITSELF. We have been living in a world where all our resources are disrespected and depleted with no respect for any asset or even responsibility to make liabilities work better! If you owe a lot of money paying the credit bill early HELPS your credit score. HAH!! Maybe god is our banker, no .. the Fico score keeper! If we had handled our withdrawals from the earths resources with RESPECT and responsibility our score for heaven might have been better. But we just withdrew and withdrew from our resource balances with neither respect nor responsibility. Now we are in trouble with Fico score god, and there is little left in our bank accounts!
This is imaginary, but thinking this way may help us to see the harm we do WITH OUR THOUGHTS!
Hah! I never thought of thoughts become things in this way before. I just never understood the manifesting thing. I wonder if all that yoga, mindfulness, mediation stuff is FROM and for (outer layers of the onion) SHALLOW thinkers?? maybe it feels so phoney to us because it IS PUT OUT BY LEFT BRAINS. Hah OMG EPIPHANY. It is easy for buddha to just breathe and control hi mind if he is ONLY thinkng of himself. How does staying in a monastery help OTHER people? As usual I have no idea what I am talking about .. BUT decades of questions have usually proven my early epiphany and INTUITION TO BE CORRECT.
I know it is all tremendously useful and works. Why does it feel phoney and shallow to me?
So glad to hear someone else feel the same. that they just can NOT get into the "just control your mind". Maybe those people who find it easy and then preach it .. don't think much of others well being. Focusing on self ALONE is always so much easier!
